The person behind Bierzo Art Studio
Meet Riky de Bierzo — the artist who hand-paints every commission that leaves the studio.

The person behind every brushstroke
I started painting miniatures at fourteen, sitting at the kitchen table with a couple of brushes, a hand-me-down Citadel box and a lot of curiosity. What began as a hobby quickly became a healthy obsession with the small things: the highlight on a piece of armour, the right shadow on a cloak, the freehand detail that changes the whole figure.
After more than a decade painting for myself, for friends and for local stores in the Bierzo region, I decided to turn it into a profession. Bierzo Art Studio was born as a place where every commission is treated as if it were destined for my own display cabinet — with the calm of someone who loves the craft and the discipline of someone who delivers on time.
Today I paint every day for collectors, tournament players and shops across Europe. My commitment is simple: your miniature only leaves the studio when it meets the level we agreed on — not a day before.
I treat every miniature that reaches the studio as if it were destined for my own display cabinet.
